Course Overview
Violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence permeates the lives of thousands of people each day with destructive results. Underpinning this abuse are coercive and controlling behaviours and tactics of the abuser. This course has been designed to equip all professionals whose service users may be experiencing coercive control with knowledge and skills to support them.
Since coercive and controlling behaviour became a criminal offence, our trainers have worked extensively with Police and survivors to better understand the dynamics and effects of this behaviour, and will guide you through how to gather effective evidence to support claims of CCB.
